Last month, I photographed the new Albion District Library in Toronto. Designed by Perkins+Will, the building replaces the old library and brings a colorful presence to the neighborhood. My photos have been published on ArchDaily.
I started with a few exterior images highlighting the shape of the building. The entrance is particularly interesting and makes for striking images.
The library has a couple of outside spaces that will be nice for visitors. The benches are a key feature and definitely help the compositions.
The interior images are about highlighting the different spaces created inside the library.
