Last summer, Lorne Rose Architect commissioned me to photograph a series of cottages he designed in Innisfil, ON, on the shores of Lake Simcoe. It was a great assignment, with a variety of architectural styles and locations.
The first one was a traditional cottage right by the water, with a nice little lawn.
The next cottage was absolutely stunning. Located in a relatively remote part of the lake, it sits on a huge plot of land and has several buildings, including a boathouse and pool house.
With a definitely more modern look, the third cottage was great to photography with the round pool. The location was also amazing, in a very quiet part of Innisfil.
The last cottage’s design was inspired by Quebec farmhouses and looked great at dusk in the forest.
