CAMH Neuroinformatics by Cumulus Architects

This spring, I had the pleasure to work with Cumulus Architects to capture the new office they designed for the Krembil Centre for Neuroinformatics at CAMH.

It was great to work with the team who acted as models for many of the shots. For office spaces, including people in the images makes a huge difference: it helps show the space in use, which is key when you’re including these images in proposals and awards.

The open space (above) has some great screens that can be used as whiteboards.

There are several collaboration spaces, including the large board room. Having enough people to fill the boardroom is important to avoid images to feel too “staged”.

The central space of the office is the kitchen, linking various open spaces and providing a community space, as well as some quiet “pods”.
