This past April, Brunello Cucinelli opened its first standalone store in Canada and commissioned me to photograph it on the morning of the opening. The store is the brand’s flagship location in North America, spanning 3 floors and including it’s Canadian offices.
I started photographing very early at dawn to capture the exteriors. Getting the windows with minimal reflections is key to see the displays.
The first floor is split into two beautiful spaces, with high ceiling and beautiful art on the walls.
The second floor feels bigger, with several small spaces, including men’s and home.
One of the store’s special features is the Sartoria Solomeo tailoring space.
Finally, I captured a few details of the displays, including the home section, which isn’t in most stores.
